Terms of Service

General

By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to my Terms of Service. These terms are intended to protect both me, as the artist, and you as the client, and ensure a smooth commission process.

Payments

- All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Payment is required in full before work begins unless another arrangement has been agreed upon.
- Payment plans may be available for larger commissions, such as ones over 100$.
- Work will not begin until payment has been received.
- All payments must either be given through Paypal, or through Zelle. Digital checks will never be accepted.

Process

- References must be provided, preferably an image and not a description, descriptions alone will result in an extra fee since I will basically be designing a character as well.
- Continuing on with saying, visual references are preferred.
- The client is responsible for ensuring all reference materials are accurate, and if there are inaccuracies to communicate that before or during the sketch process.
- Progress updates may be provided at the sketch, line art, and/or rendering stages depending on the commission type.

Revisions

- Minor revisions are included during the sketch stage, please keep it to 2 max, after that there may be fees applied depending on the amount of time spent.
- Major changes requested after the initial approval of the sketch may also require an additional fee.
- Changes requested after the artwork has been completed may be declined or charged a fee of a considerable amount.

Turnaround Time

- Estimated completion time varies depending on the complexity of the commission, place in the queue, and current workload overall.
- Delays due to illness, emergencies, or personal circumstances may occur. Clients will be informed if such circumstances arise that result in significant delays.
- After initial sketch has been delivered commission should take no more than a month to fully complete, although I am for a week.
- Rush commissions may be available for an additional fee, depending on queue, and type of commission.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

- The client may request a cancellation before any work has been started for a full refund.
- Once work has begun, refunds may be partial, or null, depending on the amount of work completed.
- Under no circumstances, will a refund be issues after the artwork has been completed or delivered.
- I, as the artist, reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time. If this occurs, a full or partial refund will be provided based on progress.

Copyright & Usage

I (Medilic), as the artist, retain all copyright to the artwork I produce.

The client may:
- Use the artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Post the artwork online with visible credit to myself, as well as optionally a link to my webpage.
- Print the artwork for personal use only.

The client may not:
- Claim the artwork as their own.
- Remove my signature/watermark.
- Sell, mint, redistribute, or commercially profit from the artwork without written permission or a contract.
- Use my artwork for any sort of AI training, machine learning, or image generation.
- Edit or heavily modify the artwork without permission.

Commercial usage rights must be discussed before work begins and may require an additional licensing fee.

Artist Rights

I, (Medilic) as the artist, reserve the right to:

- Decline any commission request for any reason.
- Share completed commissions on portfolios, galleries, and social media unless otherwise agreed upon beforehand.

Will Draw

- Original Characters (OCs)
- NSFW of humanoid characters. (Discuss before hand, and an ID is required.)
- Fan Art, Including Yume Ships.
- Fantasy Creatures.
- Anthro/Furry Characters.
- Feral animals, including canines.
- Mild gore.

Will Not Draw

- Hate Speech or Discriminatory Content.
- Illegal or exploitative content.
- Content involving minors in anything deemed inappropriate.
- Extreme gore. (With exceptions.)
- Anything that violates applicable laws.

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you, as the client, have read and accepted these Terms of Service, and if you have any questions regarding them you will communicate about them.
